The Friends of the Pleasant Valley Free Library is an association of people interested in the Library. We aim to focus attention on the Library and to encourage the use of the Library's resources and services. We support the Library Board through appropriate donations of materials and equipment, and we encourage gifts and contributions to the Library. We work closely with the Library Director and Staff to support library services and programs.
Our income is mainly from fundraisers, including our Spring Book Fair and special sales throughout the year, and projects such as our Cook Book.
We invite you to join us. Participation in activities is important and lots of fun, for example: On a spring afternoon, you can browse through thousands of books, meet neighbors, new people, and help the library, or you might have your own project idea, and that would be wonderful.
